Driving just to drive
up the curvy coastline
like an elongating worm
of cars that want to go faster:
a Winnebago bottleneck on the 101.

Lunch at the Blue Moon Cafe
just up the road from the cheese plant
where Cookie picked PB&J
and Ama ate one crouton for lunch.
Then back to Cannon Beach for a nap.
